So some months have gone by and I am swamped at work, to the degree I really do not have much time to work with photos at home.

But as you all know, all work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy!

I can not really say I am really satisfied with the picture as a whole. The logo/font/type however I think is a cool thing and for that I used repoussé.

Oliver went all mellow on me when he saw that I had done a picture of Casper earlier. So he went “Where is my picture? *sad eyes*”.

Unfortunately I did not really like the outcome, but the tutorial was ok so I learned something new.!

Casper had a moment of happiness. So I used this shot to follow a tutorial on the net called “Color Effects with the Alpha channel“.

And due to the pattern and colors used even jpg files got ridiculously large with quality 75 (which is the usual Quality I have here), so I had to make the pictures smaller. The hires version I usually put up is 1,5MB, but Lightroom could not even export it to that size.

So I looked through FB and saw NAPP’s shout out about putting up example work from the latest number of Photoshop User. Within an hour or two I came up with the image above.

I think the first half went to find appropriate textures I then came up with this. But a poster size would give it a better look , check next post soon (the time… I need more time).

This is a picture from last year. Oliver turned 2, and cookies and cakes are the melody!

I know this can be a bit repetetive, but still working out my new Wacom board I got 2 days ago when I got.

So going through some different tuts and trying to get a feel for this new way of designing and retouching.

I were on a concert a couple of days ago, it was a release concert for a new band called “Playful” and their first album is named: “Solar Plexus”.
I have never done concert photo shoots before, so this was kinda fun but I also missed a lot of pictures due to the place being very crowded and I could not move much.

My lens was ok, but next time I have to get a 1.8 or 1.4, because the 2.8 is really hard.

Oh, BTW, but the album, it was awesome music. A mixture between U2, Depeche Mode, ColdPlay.

Oliver was playing with a stick in the water and loving the water. I got a few other shots off, but I think this was the one I liked best in B&W.

This shot was taken at the dinner table and after going through a number of lightroom filters the output was to me very nice. So I opened up Photoshop and started to remove some artififacts and fix the background some.
I would like to have added some gradient background or so, but the issue with that is too little time. To fix a background I need to fix the body/shoulder/arm lines since they are gone now, and then hope that it will look good in the end. Perhaps another month ;p
